Kanzaki ist ein eher unauffälliger Schüler und wird für gewöhnlich von den Mädchen an seiner Schule ignoriert. Daher springt er selbstverständlich auf den ersten Liebesbrief, den er bekommt, sofort an und geht arglos zu dem Treffpunkt, den seine Mitschülerin Mari vorgeschlagen hat. Dort stellt sich allerdings heraus, dass sie Vampir ist, die ihn K.O. schlagen will, um dann Blut von ihm zu trinken. Da das aber nicht so klappt wie geplant und die Art von Körperflüssigkeit, mit der sie ihren Hunger stillt, beliebig ist, endet es damit, dass die beiden Sex miteinander haben. Was Kanzaki als gute Gelegenheit angesehen hat, unverhofft zum Stich zu kommen, zieht jedoch Konsequenzen nach sich, denn nun hat er Mari buchstäblich am Hals, die bei ihm „auf den Geschmack gekommen ist“. Fortan bedient sie sich in jeder Mittagspause und nach der Schule bei ihm, was ihm zwar nicht unbedingt missfällt, er sich aber trotzdem Gedanken macht, ob sie ihn überhaupt mag oder nur als Nahrungsquelle betrachtet.
