Als ihn Sakura Saginomiya zum Essen einlädt, kann Konishi natürlich das Angebot nicht ausschlagen, immerhin kommt das nicht gerade häufig vor, dass er von ihr eingeladen wird. Als die beiden letztlich in einem fast leeren Pub landen, ist Konishi zwar zunächst misstrauisch, für ihn aber trotzdem noch kein Grund wieder kehrt zu machen. So merkt er zu spät, dass er geradewegs in eine Falle getappt ist, ausgeheckt von General Tsukamoto, um ihn für den kommenden Wettbewerb in einem Ramen-Imbiss zu schwächen. In dem Plan ist neben Sakura auch der Besitzer des Pubs Katchan involviert, der sogleich die Tür abschließt und per Knopfdruck eine gewaltige Karaoke-Anlage aus dem Boden fahren lässt. Spätestens nun weiß auch Konishi, dass seine Stunde geschlagen hat, denn diesmal gibt es keinen Fluchtweg - vor Karaoke im allgemeinen und Sakuras Balladen im Besonderen - für ihn.
