Nagi ist einer der Uran-Zwillinge, die beide Mitglieder der Kuge-Klasse sind. Passenderweise sind ihre „Honeys“ ebenfalls eineiige Zwillinge – seine Partnerin ist Ai Urabe (im späteren Verlauft „tauscht“ er aber sogar mit seinem Bruder, worauf Ais Schwester Koi den Platz übernimmt).

Nagi gibt sich vor dem Basketball-Dropout-Match siegessicher, denn obwohl sie gegen Kai Renge antreten, müssten sie sich nur auf Yuzuru konzentrieren, die eindeutig die Schwachstelle beim Gegner darstellt, womit er auch Recht behält, da sein Team auf unfaire Methoden zurückgreift.
