Nanakos Mutter arbeitete, bevor sie Professor Misonoo kennenlernte, als Kellnerin in einer Bar, wo sie ihren jetzigen Ehemann traf, nachdem er und seine erste Frau sich trennten und er aufgrund der schmerzlichen Scheidung zu trinken begann. Er überwand diese Phase, verliebte sich in Nanakos Mutter und sie heirateten.

Der Grund, warum Nanako bei ihrer Aufnahme in die Sorority ausführlich befragt wurde, war die Beziehung ihrer Eltern vor ihrer Eheschließung, offenbar streute jemand ein Gerücht, was besagt, dass Nanakos Mutter der Scheidungsgrund war, was offensichtlich falsch ist.
