Eines Nachts sieht Masa an einem kleinen Teich die völlig nackte Alka und kann nicht anders als einen Blick zu riskieren. Für Alka bleibt das nicht verborgen und da sie mit ihren Verfolgern rechnet, hat Masa nur einen Augenblick später eine scharfe Klinge an der Kehle. Zum Glück ist sein älterer Bruder Koga in der Nähe, der die Situation lösen kann. Masa ist generell etwas schusselig und offenbar dafür bekannt in etwaige Schlamassel zu geraten. Den Vorschlag seines Bruders, dass Alka ihnen beim Konflikt mit dem Königreich Palam behilflich sein kann, unterstützt er in Gegenwart von Dorfvorsteherin Molly, und führt dafür als Beweis ihrer Qualität ausgerechnet seine mit Urin durchtränkte Hose an.
