Kyouko ist die Nachbarin von Shizuko Amagi. Schon mehrmals hat Shizuko bei ihr geklingelt, doch bislang hat sie ihr nicht die Tür geöffnet und auch ansonsten macht sie sich rar. Als Shizuko den Streuner aufnimmt und bei sich in der Wohnung leben lässt, scheint ihr das gar nicht zu gefallen. Sie belästigt sie am Telefon, ohne etwas zu sagen, schickt ihr Gegenstände, die Shizuko gar nicht bestellt hat und schreibt ihr Drohbriefe, in denen steht, dass Shizuko die Katze sofort aus der Wohnung schmeißen soll.
