Zusammen mit Kumi, Ran und Misuzu bildet Momoe den Kern der Basketballmannschaft der Suzuridani Grundschule, wo sie regelmäßig an der Seite von Miyu in der ersten Mannschaft spielt und dabei auch recht erfolgreich ist. Da sie sich wie auch ihre Teamkolleginnen in ihrem letzten Grundschuljahr befindet, sind die diesjährigen regionalen Ausscheidungskämpfe auch ihre letzte Möglichkeit sich für die nationalen Meisterschaften im Grundschul-Basketball zu qualifizieren und geht dementsprechend motiviert in alle anstehenden Wettkämpfe. In ihrer Mannschaft belegt sie die Position des Power Forward.
