Genjuuro nahm seinen Sohn mit auf eine Mission: er sollte eine wichtige Persönlichkeit eskortieren. Allerdings verlief diese bei weitem nicht so friedlich wie erhofft, denn ein riesiges Insekt tauchte vor Jinbee und dem Sohn des Lords auf. Der noch junge Jinbee erstarrte vor Angst bei diesem Anblick, während der Sohn des Lords zu Boden fiel und sich vor lauter Angst wortwörtlich in die Hose gemacht hat. Genjuurou nahm daraufhin die Schuld auf sich und musste sein eigenes Schwert in sein Bein rammen. Diesen Anblick konnte Jinbee nie wieder vergessen, was später auch sein Antrieb wurde anstelle seines Vaters dem Mushibugyou beizutreten.
