Regisseur Katou stellt in der Starlight Academy sein neuestes Projekt namens „Aikatsu Sensei“ vor. Für die Titelrolle lässt er hier ein Casting veranstalten: Gesucht wird eine Darstellerin, die den Part einer jungen Lehrerin übernimmt, die mit unkonventionellen Methoden die Welt des Aikatsu aufmischt. Für das Casting stellen sich unter anderem Ichigo Hoshimiya, Aoi Kiriya und Ran Shibuki als erfahreneres Lehrpersonal zur Verfügung.
