Dango bzw. die große Dango-Familie (Dango Daikazoku (だんご大家族), eng. Great Dango Family) sind die von Nagisa Furukawa so sehr geliebten, süßen Animecharaktere aus Kindertagen. Nagisa findet, dass nichts auf der Welt so süß ist wie die kleinen Dangos und sie stimmt hier und da die Titelmelodie der Dangos an, welches auch das musikalische Ending von Clannad darstellt. Aber nicht nur Nagisa ist ein großer Dango-Fan, sondern auch Fuko Ibuki und Kotomi Ichinose haben viel für die kleinen runden Bälle übrig.
