Sousuke ist der Sohn von Heitarou, Boss der Kawara-Yakuza. Er ist ziemlich hastig und halbstark, was jedoch für sein Alter nicht verwunderlich ist. Er hegt starke Gefühle gegenüber Osuzu und als er versucht sich einzumischen, als Ishimatsu ihrem Vater Daigorou die Urkunde für seinen Laden entziehen will, erreicht er jedoch genau das Gegenteil und anstatt zu helfen, wird Osuzu jetzt doch von Ishimatsu mitgenommen und muss in einem Bordell arbeiten. Daraufhin schließt er sich mit Jin zusammen um ihr zu helfen.
