Yousuke ist mit Yoshiko verheiratet und der Vater von Satoshi.
Als Geschäftsmann ist er in seinem Beruf ziemlich stark eingespannt und verbringt den größten Teil seiner Zeit daher außer Haus. Ein großer Teil seines Verdienstes wird für die Privatschule benötigt, auf die er seinen Sohn Satoshi geschickt hat, damit dieser eine gute Schulbildung erhält. Zudem ist die kleine Familie erst vor kurzer Zeit von einer Wohnung in ein eigenes Haus umgezogen. Trotzdem (oder gerade deswegen) sind die wenigen Momente, die er mit seiner Familie verbringen kann, von Spannungen und Streitereien mit seiner Frau geprägt.
