Hotaru ist eine junge hübsche Frau, welche es auf Mugen abgesehen hat. Nachdem Mugen ihr die kaputte Sandale repariert, schafft sie es diesen zu verführen. Jedoch sollte man sich von ihrer Schönheit nicht blenden lassen und so schafft sie es teilweise Mugen mit dem Gift des »One Night’s Mushroom« zu vergiften, dieser Pilz ist zwar eigentlich friedlich, jedoch in Verbindung mit Alkohol tödlich. Das Gift befindet sich in ihrem Lippenstift. Es ist anzunehmen, dass sie eine Auftragskillerin ist und von Ryujiro angeheuert wurde.
