Endymion war der erste Prinz der Erde zu der Zeit als das Große Königreich der Erde und das Königreich des Mondes noch Bestand hatten. Er verliebte sich in Mond-Prinzessin Serenity, obwohl das Gesetz eigentlich verbat, dass die Bewohner der Erde und des Mondes einander sehen. Als Soldaten der Erde unter dem Einfluss von Queen Metalia das Mond-Königreich angriffen, versuchte Prinz Endymion den Konflikt zu schlichten, wurde aber bei dem Versuch Serenity zu schützen von einem Krieger der Erde getötet. Endymions Reinkarnation in der heutigen Zeit ist Mamoru Chiba.
