Haruka ist die Zweite im Bunde der neuen Beschützerinnen von Souhei Yano. Sie ist Lieutenant Lutgalnikov unterstellt und fällt vor allem dadurch auf, dass sie Souhei ziemlich kühl behandelt. Das mag daran liegen, dass er gleich zu Beginn ihre Unterhose mit Bärchen-Motiv gesehen hat und sie seitdem behauptet, er hätte sie entehrt, weswegen sie seine Erinnerung an das Gesehene auslöschen will … mittels einer Handgranate. Im folgenden gerät sie mit ihm immer wieder in verfängliche Situationen, die ihre Antipathie noch weiter verstärken.
