Iokawa Karada ist eine sehr fröhliche und liebenswerte Person, die sich trotz ihres jungen Alters bereits sehr reif verhält. Ihr äußeres Erscheinungsbild wirkt aber sogar noch jünger als sie es tatsächlich ist und sie hasst es, wie ein Kind behandelt zu werden.

Ihre Eltern verstarben, als sie 2 Jahre alt war - sie lebt nun gemeinsam mit ihrem älteren Bruder Hiro Iokawa in einer Wohnung, wo sie sich um den Haushalt und das Essen kümmert. Insgeheim bedrückt Karada jedoch die Befürchtung, dass sie möglicherweise eine Last für ihren großen Bruder ist.
