Ginkotsu galt selbst unter den Sieben Kriegern als gefährlicher Kontrahent. Neben seinem mit verschiedensten Metallen verstärkten Körper, war er auch als wandelndes Waffenarsenal bekannt.
Nachdem er durch einen Juwelensplitter wiederbelebt wurde, bekam er von Renkotsu die Aufgabe zugeteilt, Inuyasha zu töten.
