Touko Fukawa wurde, bevor sie auf die Hope’s Peak Privatakademie kam, oft wegen ihres Aussehens gemobbt. Obwohl sie sich meistens eher zurückhaltend verhält, treten bei ihr hin und wieder geradezu manische Charakterzüge zutage und man kann ihre Persönlichkeit durchaus als gestört bezeichnen. Ihr erster Satz, der an Naegi gerichtet war, lautete „Sieh mich nicht so an“, da sie Angst hatte, er würde denken, dass sie das hässlichste Mädchen der Welt wäre. Byakuya Togami ist ihr mehr oder weniger heimlicher Schwarm, und egal was dieser zu ihr sagt, sie wird sich immer an ihrer Liebe zu ihm festklammern. Sie geht sogar so weit, dass sie ihn sabbernd in der Bibliothek beobachtet.
