Hitomi Kanzaki ist eine Erstklässlerin an ihrer High School Kamakura-Kita und dort eine ausgezeichnete Leichtathletikerin. Ihre Großmutter ist Yuri Kanzaki und Yukari Uchida ist ihre beste Freundin.

Hitomi ist eine aufgeweckte, einfühlsame und gutherzige Person, die bereit ist, alles für andere aufzuopfern. Ihrer wahren Natur nach sieht sie immer das Gute in den Menschen und regt diese an, es auch zu tun. Außerdem ist Hitomi eine Romantikerin und Träumerin mit einer lebendigen Fantasie. Daneben zeigt sie ein sehr fürsorgliches Verhalten gegenüber anderen.
