Zion ist der Sohn von General Thenardier, der dadurch eine gewisse Stellung innerhalb des Militärs genießt. Somit präsentiert er sich meist als ziemlicher Draufgänger, der sich gerne Extrascheiben herausnimmt und meint, er könne tun und lassen was er will.
Er ist sehr arrogant und kann es auf den Tod nicht ausstehen, sollte jemand auch nur ansatzweise an seinem Ego kratzen oder ihn schwach von der Seite ansprechen.
