Jin ist ein Jahrgang über Sorata und Misakis Kindheitsfreund. Er mag Misaki, aber er hat das Gefühl, dass seine Drehbücher nicht an ihr Talent heranreichen können. Aus diesem Grund möchte er in Osaka Dramaturgie studieren und so seine Fähigkeiten verbessern.

Jin verlässt das Sakurasou, um sich für die Aufnahmeprüfung der Universität in Osaka vorzubereiten. Seitdem wohnt er bei seinem guten Freund Soichiro.

Jin prügelt sich sogar für Misaki! Auf den ersten Blick wirkt er cool und gelassen, aber im Inneren kann er sehr leidenschaftlich sein.
