Kotomi Irie ist die gemeinsame Tochter von Kotoko und Naoki Irie. Sie kommt ganz nach ihrer Mutter, denn sie ist mindestens genau so energiegeladen wie sie und stellt den Alltag ihrer Familie auf den Kopf. Lediglich ihr Denkvermögen hat sie scheinbar von ihrem Vater geerbt.
Ihren Vater liebt sie sehr und hat einen regelrechten Vaterkomplex. Deshalb ist sie ständig im Kampf mit Kotoko um die Gunst von Naoki zu gewinnen, wo ihre Mutter meist den Kürzeren zieht.
