Als Kise sich verletzt und gegen Seirin nicht über die ganze Zeit spielen kann, scheint das Spiel bereits entschieden. Zwar mag er spielerisch nicht mit Kise konkurrieren können, aber er schafft es effektiv, Kagami und andere starke Spieler Seirins erfolgreich zu blocken, sodass er Zeit erspielen kann, bis Kise wieder rein darf.
