Schon seit ihrer gemeinsamen Schulzeit ist Larry mit Phoenix und Miles befreundet. Daher wird er, als seine Freundin Cindy Stone ermordet und er als Mörder verdächtigt wird, zu Phoenix' erstem Klienten in dessen Anwaltskarriere.
Da er nicht wirklich weiß, was er mit seinem Leben anfangen soll, wechselt er ständig seinen Job und seine Freundin. Zudem ist er ziemlich faul und neigt dazu in so ziemlich jeder Situation überzureagieren.
