Keiji wohnt zusammen mit seiner Tochter Luluco, auf der er so unendlich stolz ist, dass ihm dadurch die Tränen kommen, in einer kleinen Mietwohnung und ist bei einer Zweigstelle der Space Patrol als Ermittler tätig. Er kümmert sich so gut um Luluco, wie es ihm irgendwie möglich ist.

Weil er sich wegen eines Missgeschickes selber einfriert, muss er bis zu seiner vollständigen Genesung hauptsächlich an seinem Arbeitsplatz verweilen. Er hegt eine Auseinandersetzung mit der Weltraumpiratin Godspeed.
