Kurz bevor Malek sich am Rande der Verzweiflung befand und einfach nicht mehr weiter wusste, aufgrund des immer schlimmer werdenden Mobbings, überreichte ihm Beatrice Grese, wie auch schon bei Gerd Frentzen zuvor, eine Pille, die ihn von seinen Qualen erlöste sollte. Doch passierte auch hier dasselbe und Malek wurde zu einem »Amalgam«. Anfangs hatte er sich noch unter Kontrolle und zog deshalb los, um die Schüler, die ihn gemobbt hatten, zu töten. Nachdem ihm dies problemlos gelang, verspürte er Reue und als Amalgam drehte er dann durch. Da er aber bei seinem Mord von Kameras überwacht wurde, musste er vor der immer dichter rückenden XAT fliehen. Sein Codename lautet »Yellow«.
