Ähnlich wie sein Kamerad Tomohisa, weist Kazuna ein prinzenähnliches Verhalten auf. Er ist ruhig und freundlich. Für seine Freunde hat er immer ein offenes Ohr und sie sind ihm sehr wichtig. Allerdings ist sein Verhalten oft nur Fassade, denn im Innern plagt ihn ein starker Minderwertigkeitskomplex. Kazuna hat das Gefühl im Schatten von Tomohisa zu stehen und das schon seitdem er ein Kind ist.
Obwohl ihm das schwer auf der Seele liegt, kämpft er für seinen Traum. Er möchte ein berühmtes Idol werden und arbeitet, wie die Anderen, hart an seinen Fähigkeiten, um noch viel heller zu strahlen. Dabei ist er immer für seine Freunde da, auch wenn er sich eher im Hintergrund hält und wenig redet.
