Nana lungerte immer als junge streunende Katze um der Mochizuki Academy herum und zog die Aufmerksamkeit von Makoto Yuuki und seinen Freunden auf sich. Diese kümmerten sich fortan um sie, umsorgten sie und die Schule wurde so zu Nanas neuem Zuhause. Auch heute noch, einige Jahre später, lebt sie in dem verlassenen Schulgebäude und wird dort vermutlich von Matsuri Amachi verpflegt, die einzige Person, die immer noch im selben Ort wohnt.
