Kagura ist der zweite Abkömmling des Dämons Naraku und in Gegensatz zu ihrer Schwester Kanna, hasst sie Naraku, da dieser ihr Herz geraubt hat, um sie so besser kontrollieren zu können. Außerdem hasst sie es für Naraku die Drecksarbeit machen zu müssen.

Kagura kann mithilfe eines magischen Fächers den Wind so beherrschen, das er zu einer tödlichen Waffe werden kann. Zudem ist sie im Besitz einer magischen Feder, auf der sie fliegen kann.

Wenn Kagura im Kampf unterliegt, gerät sie leicht in Rage und außer Kontrolle. Sie zeigt ihre Emotionen gerade heraus und beherrscht diese nur gegenüber Naraku.
