Gook ist ein guter Freund von Ryuuk, der ihn bei dessen Gang auf die Erde verabschiedet. Besonders auffallend sind seine zwei Hörner auf dem Kopf, die ihn von anderen seiner Artgenossen unterscheiden. Seine Zeit verbringt dieser eher faule Shinigmi mit Glücksspiel, welches er immer mit Dellidublly zusammen spielt. Eine weiter Beschäftigung von Gook ist der Mittagsschlaf. Allerdings kann man vermuten, dass er kein glückliches Leben führt.
