Megane ist einer von Atarus Schulfreunden, entwickelt sich aber wegen Lum zum Gegenspieler. Zusammen mit Chibi, Perm und Kakugari hat er einen Fanclub gegründet, der es sich, mehr oder weniger ausschließlich durch seine Initiative, zum Ziel gesetzt hat, Lum loyal zu sein. Von seiner Persönlichkeit her ein Anführertyp, lässt sich Megane oft zu überschwänglichen Reden hinreißen, die die mitunter demotivierten Clubmitglieder dazu bringen zu tun, was er von ihnen erwartet.
