Kurz nach der Abreise Tesshusai Tateokas taucht im Dojo Lei Lin auf, eine Chinesin und Tochter eines guten alten Freundes Tesshusais, mit dem sie eigentlich etwas im Auftrag ihres Vaters besprechen wollte. Nun da dieser aber nicht anwesend ist und auch noch einige Zeit wegbleiben wird, quartiert sie sich einfach kurzentschlossen im Dojo ein und schmeißt sich sofort erstmal an Shingurou ran. Ihr forsches Auftreten wird natürlich gleich scharf von Koharu beobachtet. In Lei Lin steckt aber noch mehr, so befindet sie sich auf der Suche nach einem vom Shogun gestohlenen Gegenstand.
