Kana Sumiya ist eine Mitschülerin von Sora Aoi und die beste Freundin seiner Zwillingsschwester Nami.

Kana ist schon seit einiger Zeit bis über beide Ohren in Sora verliebt, traute sich jedoch bisher nicht ihm ihre Liebe zu gestehen. Kana bewundert Soras ältere Schwester Aki für ihre Ausgelassenheit, ihre Beliebtheit und ihre Schönheit sehr und versteht wieso er sie so sehr liebt, so dass Kana sich ihr gegenüber unterlegen fühlt. Auch Namis Versuche Kana und Sora zusammen zu bringen verhelfen zu keinem Erfolg.

Dass Nami Kana gegenüber starke Liebesgefühle hegt, ahnt Kana in keinster Weise.
