Manaka Komaki ist Schülerin an einer Akademie, an der Magie praktiziert wird und übernimmt den Posten der Schüleraufsicht. Es ist schon eine ganze Weile her, dass sie ihre alte Schule besucht hatte, um so mehr Freude bereitet es ihr, ihre alte Freundin Sayako Kimiduka nach all der Zeit wieder zu sehen. Allzu viel Zeit bleibt den beiden für ihre Wiedersehensfreude jedoch nicht, denn Manakas Pflicht ruft.

Auf ihrer Patrouille hört sie plötzlich einen Frauenschrei und eilt der Dame zu Hilfe. Sie rettet eine Mitschülerin vor dem skrupellosen Yuki Asahina, der sich über das Mädchen her machen wollte. Doch als er sich an Manaka vergreifen will, hält ihn plötzlich ein Gedanke an seine Vergangenheit davon ab. Auch Manaka scheint Yuki, den sie eigentlich zum ersten Mal gesehen hat, zu kennen. Nur woher und was ist damals passiert?
