Diesem jungen Mann wird vom geheimnisvollen »Street Pitcher« aufgelauert, hinter dem sich niemand geringeres als Akiko Ogasawara verbirgt und ihre Partnerin Koume Suzukawa als Begleitung; vormals war diese noch mit Tomoe Tsukubae unterwegs, die sich als »Street Batter« verkleidet hatte. An Saitou, der im Team der Fujimi Secondary spielt und somit im selben Team wie Izawa, möchte sie ihre Wurftechnik verbessern und vor allem es schaffen den sogenannten »Magischen Ball« hinzubekommen. Saitou nimmt die Herausforderung ohne zu zögern an und kann ihren Ball ohne Probleme treffen.
