Yuri führt zusammen mit Layla Hamilton die legendäre »Romeo & Julia«-Trapeznummer am Kaleido Stage auf. Die beiden sind die absoluten Stars der Show. Im Gegensatz zu Layla wirkt er viel gelassener und freundlicher.

Yuris Vater starb bei dem Versuch, eine besonders gewagte Artistik aufzuführen. Dieser Unfall hat Yuri traumatisiert - er macht Kalos Eido dafür verantwortlich, weil dieser seinem Vater die Durchführung der Nummer erlaubt hatte.
