Frau Masaki ist die Mutter von Yukari und Gattin von Eizo und macht sich Sorgen um ihre Tochter, die schon 2 Selbstmordversuche hinter sich hat. Sie ist sehr verzweifelt, weil ihr auch der Zugang zu Yukari plötzlich fehlt. Falls sie mit Yukari reden will, bekommt sie keine Antwort. Hilfesuchend wendet sie sich an Ryo und Kaori, weil sie mit ihrem Latein am Ende ist. Die Ehe mit Eizo ist ihre zweite Ehe, denn ihr erster Mann ist vor 12 Jahren gestorben. Sie brachte Yukari mit in diese Ehe und möchte es nicht wahrhaben, dass ihr Mann Yukari töten will. Es ist ihr zwar das unterkühlte Verhältnis zwischen Eizo und Yukari nicht entgangen, aber sie vertraut ihrem Mann.
