Eiji Kimura war ursprünglich gemeinsam mit Ryuusuke in der Band Serial Mama. Nach einigen Auseinandersetzungen zerfiel die Band jedoch, und beide schworen sich, die beste Band, die es je gab, zu gründen. Somit entsteht seine Band Belle Ame und Eiji ist zielstrebig auf der Suche nach den besten und fähigsten Bandmitgliedern. Auch Taira wirbt er als Mitglied an, da er sein Talent als Bassist schnell erkennt. Dieser lehnt jedoch ab und tritt Ryuusukes Band BECK bei. Eines seiner ersten Mitglieder wird der Frontsänger Miyazawa Manabu, der vorher in der Band Cloud integriert war.
