Yano ist der wohl mit Abstand beliebteste Junge an seiner Schule und fast jedes Mädchen schwärmt für ihn. Er kommt cool und lässig rüber und sein Lächeln verzaubert so manche Mitschülerin. Dementsprechend flirtet Yano ziemlich gerne und ihm gehen recht schnell Lügen über die Lippen. Hinter dieser überheblichen Fassade verbirgt sich allerdings eine traurige Vergangenheit. Als seine Mitschülerin Nanami zur Klassensprecherin gewählt wird, beginnt Yano sich für sie zu interessieren. Diese weiß mit seiner widersprüchlichen Art allerdings nicht wirklich umzugehen.
