Miyuki Amou führt das kleine, idyllisch anmutende Gasthaus Kazahana Inn. Sie ist eine sanftmütige, freundliche Frau, denen das Wohl ihrer Gäste sehr am herzen liegt; sie verbirgt aber auch ein Geheimnis: ihr verstorbener Mann Heizou war ein Shibari-Meister, der sie trainiert hatte. Da er aber an einer Krankheit verschied, bevor ihr Training abgeschlossen war, kommt sie nicht über ihn hinweg und wird von Tag zu Tag verzweifelter.

Um ihr zu helfen wurde Seiichi Itoh in ihr Haus geholt, auch wenn weder er noch Miyuki von diesem Plan zunächst wissen: er soll ihr Training beenden und damit ihre selbstzerstörerische Bindung an Heizou lösen. Im Endeffekt wird ihr klar, dass sie nicht Heizou selbst, sondern seine Techniken geliebt hat.
