Der Vater von Ichika arbeitet als Architekt und verdient dabei gut genug, so dass er seine Tochter auf die Kamakura-Mädchenschule schicken kann. Ähnlich wie seine Frau Izumi ist er eine sehr freundliche, gütige Person und nimmt daher die von Ichika als SMS-Freundin vorgestellte Manatsu Kuroki sehr herzlich in der Familie auf und behandelt sie vom ersten Tag an, wie eine langjährige Freundin der Familie. Er bittet sie außerdem genauso darum ein wenig auf seine Tochter aufzupassen.
