Mai Asagiri ist die kleine Schwester von Tatsuya und lebt mit ihm und Sayaka in Mitsurugasaki. Sie geht auf dieselbe Schule wie Tatsuya, Natsuki und Feena, jedoch in eine andere Klassenstufe. Sie spielt sehr gerne Querflöte und ist mit Tatsuyas Klassenkameradin Midori im Orchester der Schule.

Sie ist eine höfliche und zuvorkommende Person, die jedem freundlich gesinnt ist und allen hilft. Sie liebt ihren Bruder über alles und freut sich jedesmal wenn sie Zeit mit ihm verbringen kann. Auch zu Feena, die zurzeit bei den Asagiris wohnt, hat sie ein sehr gutes Verhältnis und unternimmt daher viel mit ihrem Bruder, Feena und Natsuki.

Dass ihr Bruder sie manchmal in die Nase zwickt, empfindet sie in der Öffentlichkeit als peinlich und schämt sich jedes Mal, wenn Tatsuya dies tut. Sie hat aber im Grunde nichts dagegen und freut sich stattdessen, dass ihr Bruder ihr soviel Aufmerksamkeit schenkt.
