Um eine sehr wichtige Fracht aus den Fängen des Convenant zurück zu erlangen, erteilt er einer kleinen Einheit Spartans den Befehl Feindgebiet zu infiltrieren und das gestohlene Gut zurück zu bringen. Das Frachtgut stellt einen »Gegenstand« von höchster Priorität dar, dessen sich die Feinde offenbar bislang noch nicht bewusst geworden sind. Für die ganze Mission beträgt das Zeitfenster allerdings nur läppische 10 Minuten, sollte die Operation länger dauern, wird er die Flotte des Feindes vernichten müssen und so nimmt der Captain nicht nur den Verlust des Gegenstandes in Kauf, sondern auch den der kompletten Einheit um den Master Chief.
