Aois Mutter führt zusammen mit ihrem Ehemann einen Fischhandel. Eine sehr freundliche Frau, die um die Achillesferse ihres Mannes weiß, der sich allzu schnell zu etwas breitschlagen lässt, wenn man ihm Komplimente macht. Sie nimmt das ganze aber mit Humor und ist auch stolz auf ihre Tochter und deren Freunde, die es fertig gebracht haben, den Fischhändler zu überzeugen, Aoi bei sich mitarbeiten zu lassen, so wie sie es sich gewünscht hat.
