John Benigni arbeitet als Bühnenbildner am Kaleido Stage. Seine Frau Cynthia war früher Trampolin-Akrobatin, verstarb aber sechs Jahre vor den Ereignissen in Kaleido Star. Der Schicksalsschlag traf John und seine damals vierjährige Tochter Marion hart, trotzdem entschied er sich, weiterhin dort zu arbeiten.

John ist stets hilfsbereit und fast so etwas wie die gute Seele der Kaleido Stage. Er kümmert sich z.B. an Soras Statt um die Robbe Jonathan, welche sie verlassen am Strand gefunden hatte.
