Yonezawa ist Mode-Designer, aber seine Produktionen sind mehr und mehr zu Ladenhütern verkommen. Er ist der Besitzer der Firma »Yonebo und Konsorten«. Seit Jahren befindet er sich in einem kreativen Loch und hat die Bademoden-Kollektion seiner einstigen Schülerin Midori Oohara geklaut. Nur keiner kann es ihm nachweisen. Anfangs hatte er einfach Midoris Kollektionen unter seinem Namen verkauft und ihr Steine in den Weg gelegt sich selbstständig zu machen. Hauptsache er macht Karriere, ob die Werke geklaut sind oder nicht spielt für Yonezawa keine Rolle.
