Parney Pearlmanta ist eine vor acht Jahren verstorbene Schauspielerin, die mit der Shindeki-Kirche in Verbindung stand. Sie drehte epische Geschichtsfilme wie Kleopatra und war überaus bekannt und erfolgreich. Ihr jüngster Film The Duel Tanieze Plain mit Susan Stuart, in dem Parney die Hauptrolle spielte, war ein wahrer Blockbuster und der Höhepunkt ihrer jungen Schauspielkarriere. Die Shindeki-Kirche verhalf ihr besonders zu Beginn ihrer Karriere mit Werbemitteln zu ihren ersten Erfolgen, so dass sie auch später noch in ihrer Schuld stand. Leider verfiel Parney später dem Alkohol und suchte so verzweifelt wie erfolglos nach der Legende Lascall Othello, der ihr Buch in den Himmel bringen sollte.
