Nakayama mag seine Mitschülerin Chiaki sehr und als er merkt, dass sie gestresst ist, versucht er ihr freundlich und zuvorkommend zu helfen. Sie scheint ihre ganze Last selbst schultern zu wollen, wohl weil sie meint zu etwas Bestimmten verpflichtet zu sein. Nakayama gibt jedoch nicht auf, in der Hoffnung, dass Chiaki sich doch noch darauf besinnt, dass er es nur gut mit ihr meint.
