Die Mutter von Winkeny Bizee arbeitet als Hotelbesitzerin in Toatt, wo sie unter anderem Colio Tonies und dessen Kollegen eine Übernachtung gewährt. Sie steht schon seit Jahren in enger Verbindung mit der Shindeki-Kirche und überließ vor vielen Jahren ihren damals noch sehr jungen Sohn der Kirche, damit die ihn für ihre Zwecke ausbilden lassen konnten. Bei einem Wiedersehen Jahre später erkennt sie ihren Sohn nicht mehr, scheint sogar zu glauben, sie hätte niemals einen besessen, so dass Winkeny begreift, dass ihre Erinnerungen an ihn mit Hilfe der göttlichen Waffe Argax ausgelöscht worden ist.
