Dulltom wird zwar als Armed Librarian geführt und seine Kollegen bei der Bibliothek der Bantorra glauben auch, er stehe auf ihrer Seite, aber Dulltom ist in Wahrheit ein Mitarbeiter der Shindeki-Kirche, der bei der Bantorra eingeschleust wurde und hinterlistige Sabotage-Aktionen vollführt. Sein Wunsch ist dem von Segal Crekessa enorm ähnlich: Auch er will irgendwann als wunderschönes Buch in den Himmel kommen und glaubt, er könne dies nur durch sagenhaft schreckliche Taten vollbringen. Als Waffe nutzt der skrupellose Mörder einen extrem scharfen Dolch, womit er schon einige seiner Kollegen hinterrücks erstochen hat.
